After months of leaving the house in the dark and training in the rain, you arrive at the race and give it everything, only to cross the finish line and pick up a clunky medal or a naff t-shirt. The food is average, the drinks are alcohol-free, and then everybody goes home.
As three friends who love exploring the outdoors, we are constantly in search of the next challenge. Riding the South Downs Way and gasping for a beer, we wondered if we could build a community who like a challenge but are just as keen for a good time after.
Dash Collective brings people together to escape the everyday, running or riding on trails hosted from unique locations. There are no egos, and nobody is ever left behind. At the finish, grab a drink, catch your breath, and then get some food—delicious, rewarding meals made from fresh ingredients.
Nothing beats getting outdoors with a group of mates and having a laugh to decompress. That’s why we founded Dash Collective.

The two words on my kitchen wall best sum up my life – Flat Out.
I’ve grown up exploring, trail running, and riding bikes. Years of route planning means I’m inevitably tasked with where we ride or run each week – at least I get to pick the pub we finish at!
A career in digital marketing has led me to innovate within the outdoor events space, particularly mountain biking and trail running.
I’m always trying to find ways to incorporate a micro-adventure, usually involving my other passion, English Sparkling Wine.
